This working group aims at supporting an urban development which is well organized and serves the public welfare. In addition, it wants to make cities more attractive places in their role as nucleus for economy, living and culture. Prof. Elke Pahl-Weber from the Institute of Town and Regional Planning at the University of Technology of Berlin holds the chairmanship.
